Klondike Chapter
What are your interests?
Whether you are considering getting into carriage driving, have been driving for years or want to get a safe and enjoyable start as a driver or with a new equine you are welcome here.
Who are we?
The Klondike Chapter of the Alberta Carriage Driving Association is an active enthusiastic group of individuals residing in the greater Edmonton area. We come from all walks of life with a common interest in equines and driving. Klondike is one of the founding chapters of the ACDA.
What do we do?
Events are generally offered during the driving season, between May and October.
Activities include clinics, fun events, horse driving trials, learning opportunities, and social gatherings like a winter (Christmas) party and potlucks.
Our intention is to make it easy to participate, no matter where your interests are with carriage driving.
Why do we do it?
We like horses and the challenges and fun that the sport of driving has to offer. It feels great to work together with our equine partners to grow our skills and challenge ourselves.
We like organizing and participating in activities. We enjoy the outdoors, being around other horses and people with a common interest of driving.
