Northern Lights is a recreational driving club based northwest of Edmonton. It’s a fun and welcoming chapter that hosts shows, clinics and other events throughout the year. This club welcomes the new driver and has loads of membership glad to help future whips to learn safe and successful methods of training the driving horse. In fact, long lining clinics and classes in our shows are a staple! The best place to start is at the beginning.
Additionally, experienced drivers are invited to participate in planning activities and competing as well!
“Big or small, we drive them all!” means long-ears are welcome too! There are a variety of carriage-driving disciplines where different animals can be successful – including donkeys and mules!
