We are drivers of all ages and experience levels, with equines of many breeds and sizes, volunteering and helping others to promote safety and good horsemanship in the sport of carriage driving. We have members from all over the central Alberta area, and hold our meetings in Olds.

RECREATION: We’re all in this for the fun, and often that just means finding a nice trail and getting together for a drive or a sleigh ride, followed by a potluck meal.
LESSONS AND CLINICS:
Throughout the year, the club provides opportunities to learn. There are lectures at winter meetings, and clinics and driving lessons held during spring and summer.
PLEASURE DRIVING SHOW:
Each summer, a weekend of show classes is organized, with an emphasis on fun. Classes include dressage tests, pleasure classes for all sizes of equine (draft to VSE), and timed classes (cones, scurry, obstacles, etc.).
COMBINED DRIVING:
Although we don’t organize our own trial, our members participate in events across the province, and as a club we assist as volunteers at the nearby Eagle Ridge Events put on by the Stonebridge club. |
